It should be under $1 and it should stay there forever. There is no shortage of petrol and inflation shouldn’t really affect it because of the increased production over time. Milk and eggs aren’t really affected and it’s kind of for similar reasons. There is no proof oil isn’t renewal either considering every single “tapped out” oil field is full of oil again after a few years. Right now in the US, gas prices are the lowest they’ve been since 2003 when they started to go up due to the Iraq war and never went back down. They need to go back to $1 or below and stay there permanently. That’s much closer to its actual real value.

The problem is when oil is low enough for 1/gal gas no one in this country can be profitable. Because they are jot profitable the will close down. Once they close down and us production drops Saudi and Russia will control the price and we'll be back to 5+/gal gas. Its bot a smart choice for the US to allow their energy supply be controlled by other countries.
Oil producers are paying to have people take oil off there hands - gas is gong far under $1/gallon.
Oh and over here this is cheap, mind you.
