My theory is it was a glow op that turned sour, and the jews took advantage of the situation immediately and spun it into justification for more gun control/surveillance. FAA records showed Paddock previously owned a plane now owned by a DOD contractor in Virginia. Paddock was a professional gambler, which means he could be laundering money doing the chips for cash technique. It's possible he was a gun runner, and a deal went bad, and maybe some A-rabs shot up the place, but the shooting was pinned on Paddock because revealing who actually did it (Saudis or Emirates, maybe) would be extremely damaging for those in charge.
