Why does Walmart trigger Europeans so much? Sure the stores are a bit disorganized and they cater to the lowest common denominator but the prices are cheap, are open 24 hours and have a lot of selection of everything from salads to firearms. I'm aware that their predatory business practices killed local business, but don't pretend Europe doesn't have "hyper markets" as well.
Why does Walmart trigger Europeans so much...
Walmart is a microcosm of America. Full of shitskins, cheap foreign goods, a diabetes distributor with fries on the side, and fat cashiers.
You can't get a single fry at Walmart.
They think we only have Walmart. Each region has its own local Walmart-tier chain and then there are other national big box chains... we have Costco, Target, BJs, Wegmans... I mean... they have fucking ALDI lol that is actual trash. Oh and muh tesco and asda and carrefour
Let me guess, you shop exclusively at farmer's markets and Whole Foods?
I used to shop at Wally World simply because their stuff is dirt cheap.
Now that I make a little bit of money I can afford to go to Super Target and shop among slightly more attractive people.
Why wouldn’t you shop at Whole Foods if you live near one? Unless you eat conventional produce and poisoned banker gruel
Nice trips, I do shop at Whole Foods and try to use Amazon Fresh for their 365 line that's cheap and good but if I shopped there exclusively I'd spend a lot of fucking money.
Seething euro cucks hates 1st world conveniences
>Why wouldn’t you shop at Whole Foods if you live near one?
Lmao I bet you buy apple products and drink only 12 dollar coffee from Starbucks
>I'm aware that their predatory business practices killed local business
This is simply not true. EVERY competitive free market, large or small, is about persuading customers to come and do business with you, and if you can't attract customers, then there is no market for the product or service you offer.
If one shop owner goes out of business because 10,000 people would rather shop at Walmart, that is no fun AT ALL for that business owner, but the community as a whole has benefitted.
Walmart does an enormous service wherever they are, providing a way for people of lesser means to stretch their budget and get more for their money, while also providing a place where people of lesser education can find employment, gain experience, and improve their lives.
The issue is that with their deep pockets they sell so cheap that they lose money. After they've bankrupted all local businesses they jack their prices back up accordingly. Also they give their employees so few hours so they have to compensate their income with food stamps/welfare.
I had a German rant about how shitty peanut butter is. Not that he tried it and didn't like it, but because it simply existed and was percieved as very American. Euro OBSESSION is worse than Trump derangement syndrome.
>After they've bankrupted all local businesses they jack their prices back up accordingly.
I've seen this claim for years, but no one has ever backed it up with actual evidence. Can you provide any examples where Walmart raised prices above the level that existed before they set up shop in an area?
>muh star of david megamart
fuck off
The one in my city literally had a McDonalds inside it when I was a kid.
Has a Subway now :(
They’re obsessed with seeming “better” than us, it’s all they have anymore
They literally tried to open up here only to go out of buisness rather quickly.
Not competitive against german discounters
Lmaoooo
This desu
Walmart is full of niggers and spics
Target is full of soccer moms
>They literally tried to open up here only to go out of buisness rather quickly.
Wasn't that because of protests and you nigs sperging out?
Whole foods is for lesbian vegans and fat faggot incels
Happened in Indepence, KS for sure. They had a Kroger and Walmart would literally send one of their employees over as a "secret shopper" to check all the prices so they could keep all of their prices just below.
It worked, there's no Kroger there anymore.
Probably because Aldi does it better already
No, they just had constant losses and weren't able to get any market shares because they were actually more expensive than the already established chains.
Aldi/Lidl/etc operate on ~2% margins on their food, and that's without specific discounts
They had beer on clearance yesterday. Beer. I got a case of Rainier for $8.25.
I love Walmart.
because the entrenched players (aldi, lidl) already have the supply chain, economy of scales, understanding of consumers, and consumer trust
walmart in germany tried to offer shit germans didn't want at prices that were not competitive
doesn't help that their stores are ugly and they hate unions
Walmarts are OK when they are looting raping murdering stealing or blasting rap music, I guess.
>Imagine being so mutted that you defend Walmart
Europeans still live under the illusion that their continent is somehow superior and their society is better, it doesn't matter how much evidence you present to them that Europe is an emasculated, oppressive police state they will still think of themselves as a "more advanced" society. Then there are those who realize it but just turn their frustration into envy, these are the bongs and krauts and are other fags that are constantly shitposting about muh guns and how backwards it is to have them.
In other words, euros are fags
>It worked, there's no Kroger there anymore.
Okay, but are the inflation-adjusted prices at that Walmart higher than the prices at Kroger before it shut down?
Do you have a link to any news stories or studies about this incident?
>a guy from costa rica shitting on europe
