Texas "non-essential" businesses can start operating as "drive-thru" only on the 24th. Only employees are allowed inside the businesses. Customers can order from their cars, similar to fast food, the employee will deliver the goods to the customer's car. Not sure how this will play out at clothing stores. I feel this "soft opening" on the 24th is a litmus test that will lead to a full opening of our economy on May 1st.

About the lock down, the stay at home order, and the resentment from general American (and Canadian), on how "this is a dictatorship" and all the "give me liberty or give me death" comments, I have all but two things to say:
1- Patient is a great virtue.
2- You fucking idiots have no idea what the life under a dictatorship government is like.
No, seriously, ask the immigrants around you, especially those who came from a third world country or Taiwan. They will tell you what a life under dictatorship is like, and what you were facing right now is like a silly joke.
A Dictatorship won't just ask you to stay home and simply fine you for breaking the quarantine, they'd kick down your door and claim that you violated some whatsoever law as they see it fits and throw you into jail without trial.

A Dictatorship doesn't even announce when will they plan to lower the alarm and let everyone goes back to work and normal life. The lock down, the martial law, and curfew last as long as the dictator sees it fits.
