Worldwide there are nearly 2.4 million confirmed COVID-19 cases. But in Australia there have been relatively low numbers of positive tests results. Premier Daniel Andrews yesterday said that the notion of Victoria eliminating coronavirus was "within reach." Also yesterday, Health Minister Greg Hunt pointed to 1 per cent rates of increase for the virus over the past week as "an important national achievement."
