Listen Yas Forums, I pretty much accept the fact that the universe and the earth was not created by a mystical sky daddy, that earth is older than 6,000 years old, the flood didn’t happen, and both Jesus and most biblical stories are either fake or greatly exaggerated, but I just can’t seem to let go. I’m a pretty scientific person, I’m studying biochemistry, but I’m generally scientifically literate so knowing everything I do there is literally no reason for me to believe in a god anymore, but I was raised Catholic and just can’t seem to let this shit go. They CANT handle seeing the world the way more intelligent people with an inner monologue can. They need to be told simple answers. They need something where at the end of the day they can feel like they followed the rules/did well.
Religion always functioned as that medium and this is exactly why when we're in an age with a great absence of it, you see stupid people doing other shit instead like SJW crap. This is why they act practically religious about their beliefs, it is an absence of religion. If you raised a dozen babies in a white room being fed a paste from an extruder, they would create gods on their own. Maybe its the room, maybe its the feeder. You could put them on an island and they would do the same thing. Humanity always conjures something to believe in and give itself answers. Who the fuck knows why, but we do.
You need religion to be able to control the masses. The first step is understanding its bullshit. The final steps are realizing religion is ultra necessary because everyone else is a fucking moron. This is why we need to go back to it, so that these people are believing in something that brings tradition and morals rather than fucking degeneracy.
Abrahamic just means all religions that stem from Judaism, meaning Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Nobody but you seems to care about where the term came from so jump off a bridge and cope on the way down

i almost agree with you. i don't think religion is needed to control the masses i think good education is needed to enable the masses to do useful work, we move towards an ever more automated society where menial work is going to diminish rapidly. what we do need and what will happen, is larger abstraction between machine and task. more human language approach to programming will enable less mental overhead to achive a desired task. so problem definition will become a blue collar level job.
