we are also entering a "solar minimum"

which means like the 2019 growing season.. less sunshine=less food.

That’s not what a solar minimum is retard. There will be less sunspots, not less fucking light.

less energy being sent at the earth = colder seasons.

more sunspots = more intensity

the chicken they've been putting out is already on its sell by date. How does that happen?

the meat packing plants that have closed just happen to be subsidiaries of Chinese conglomerates btw

plus earthquakes and volcanos! cant wait!

Too many news reports are laying the groundwork for a coming artificial food shortage.
The next couple of weeks are crucial - either we reopen everything, or they find some excuse for keeping closed even longer - and we all end up starving.

Why would farmers have a hard time getting loans unless the banks or government are in a some sort of scheme?

This. China is waging war and has paid off government officials to turn away. Millions are going to die.

Don’t worry they’ll just impose communism and everything will be fine.

They lied to people by telling them "don't worry about the food supply, it'll never run out" to discourage stocking up. They want you dead one way or the other. Virus, poverty, or starvation.

True. This virus is fake anyways, which most of Yas Forums already figured out. But this artificial thing might actually fuck us.

Fucking open the country or we're going to have a real problem.

That food is being wasted because there is currently an excess of food due to restaurants, schools, etc. being shut down, and fewer people are buying those things. A food shortage involves a rise in prices and farmers trying to produce and sell as much as they can manage.

A famine because of a hoax!

If you want to cull millions again, just say so.

Food supply been fine for the most part. More waiting in the ride through line at the local grazing grounds

Reminds me of Stalin. Holodomor

Now we get to make the famine jokes

Attached: 8795654789454.jpg (611x457, 51.33K)

Holodomor involved a reduction in supply. OP's situation is a reduction in demand.

let's seize the means of production.

antifa took over Papa Johns, we can take over smithfield. I'll breach the headquarters myself. we have nothing better to do. then we turn the facilities over to the national guard, and just like that we all have more food.

IF TRUMP IS ON OUR FUCKING SIDE WHY DOESN'T HE DO SOMETHING? SEND THE GODDAMN MARINES IN

The catch of this is that we run two mostly parallel supply chains for food production - one for restaurants, entertainment, schools, prisons, etc and another for grocery.

Right now all of our focus is on that grocery sector, and to shift gears for the other supply chain really isn't easy to do. The stores and processing don't have the ability to receive this input, the farmers don't have the ability to delay harvests, the teamsters/transporters hired by the alternative line are not necessarily easy to switch over.

>So what?
Well, we probably won't have food shortages - we over produce the shit out of everything. Likewise, if shelves go empty, water stops flowing, or the lights go out I don't believe the government could maintain order. So, these sectors simply will have as much resources possible thrown at them to keep them afloat.

>True. This virus is fake anyways, which most of Yas Forums already figured out
No actually. Most of Yas Forums knew about how bad this shit is and started stockpiling waay before SHTF. SARS-2-COVID is borderline HIV and people are being reinfected with it. We open shit back up, we're fucked. It will spread like wildfire and millions of people will be left dieing because schlomo wants a few more shekels.

you guys realize the democrats and the chinese are the same party, right? the democrats create fake protests in states that they are invested in, so that people can go back to work for the chinese outfits. meanwhile the chinese companies buy all our medical supplies and ship them to china, they buy smithfield farms then close it while paying the democrats to talk about food shortages.

this is a chinese attack on our nation. that's what this artificial food shortage is. the farming companies are subsidizing the farmers and paying out to shut them down.

the solar minimum is also whats making people crazy

Ok, have fun being afraid of a virus with a 98% chance of survival.

LMFAO

People still need to eat the same number of meals, restaurant or not. Demand remains the same so the food processors have the same number of mouths to feed and have no reason to close. But they are closing artificially based on Covid-19 rumors only.

farmer are welfare queens and are the most bailed out fags in history so kys

>Have excess inventory because you can't deliver it to foreign buyers
>We need to throw all of this away and layoff employees, please Trump give us more money
>Go out of your way to increase prices in the domestic market to make up for lost international sales

When we have shortages it will be because they threw food away instead of selling it at a reduce price to correspond excess inventory. We have warehouses packed full of frozen meat, fruit, vegetables, but agricultural businesses are too set in their ways of jewing.

Peasants don't get to be picky. Just be grateful there's any meat for you at all.
