We solve it by enforcing the individuals rights of the tenant. This landlord clearly violated their privacy looking up info about them. It's a felony to use someone's SSN without their written permission too. Landlords need to be put in their place and reminded of their end of the contract agreement they got into. If someone is having trouble making their rent, they're financially irresponsible? But the Landlord can't pay Mr.Shekelburgs bank so does that make him financially irresponsible? At what point do they have to take a fucking loss as well.

There needs to be rules in place that protect the tenant from shitty landlords and landlords from shitty tenants-- but more of those rules exist than the latter. Right now, an a national emergency, evicting people creates a fucking homelessness problem the government/State is going to have to address as well.
