A federal minimum wage of at least 15 dollars or more is critical and you have NO ARGUMENT AGAINST IT.

Should be 22$ an hour per inflation

Some people's labor is not worth $15 an hour.
Yet you'll keep letting in spics to work for $5. Throw all the spics out and the suppressed labor value blows up to $15 easily.
Does "federal" only apply to federal employees?
This guy gets it.
Sensible.
Why not 30 dollaers an hour op? What about 45 dollars an hour why not?
20. Theres no 22 dollar bill.
Minimum wage is racist.

Fuck off racist leftists
and less of those people would immigrate
no
15 is actually low considering inflation and that's why they keep pushing that number, it SEEMS like a huge upgrade while keeping profits intact
reminder that the top 20% own almost 90% of americas wealth, this number doesn't take into account the trillions sitting in off shore bank accounts, if you take that into account it's more like 10% own 90% (most likely more). forcing jewish employers to pay higher salary is the only way to lower this imbalance.
i never understood why 15 was the number. i remember as a highschooler the number was 13.50 because of this highly researched study talking abbout living costs and 2 income households across america and blah blah blah. anyways higher minimum wage is based because wages have been stagnant forever. im sure we can come up with some nuanced solution for small businesses to be able to afford the minimum wage thing. the goal of it should be providing jobs and increasing aggregate demand.
there was a retard senator who proposed a 25$ an hour and paid vacation minimum wage. i think she was part of the #squad
Why stop at 15? Why not 22? You have no argument against that.
why not 45$ an hour?
>i never understood why 15 was the number
Retard. You can live on $15 anywhere in the country. You could be a king in San Francisco on $15 or a superking in Montana.
Fuck with them and they will raise the price of bread to $100/ loaf. Thats what you idiots don't understand.
why 15 why not 25
No, Federal is the minimum a state can institute as their own minimum wage. Most states are above the 7.25/hr that federal minimum wage is set at.
Minimum wage should be at least $12/hr adjusted per county based on average cost of living. Automatically adjusted every year to keep up with inflation and cost of living increases.
Daily reminder that the only way money trickles down is through wage increases and/or tax breaks to the lower and middle class.
Does Mark Cuban pay all of his employees at least $15/hour?
The reason not to raise the minimum wage to 15 is the EXACT SAME REASON you shouldn’t raise it to 100, 500, or 10,000.
You’re too stupid to know why any of those is counterproductive.
Prove me wrong.
> why not $100.
command economies always fail.
bullshit lets do 9000 dollars a minute and only work 6 days a year.
Commercefag here and starting law September.
I’ve heard This argument so many times and it’s absolutely retarded. A living wage is what the market says a living wage is.I mean honestly why don’t you just make the minimum wage $100 an hour, it won’t mAke a difference.
All this does it lower the buying power of people that have worked for a higher wage.
You also incentivize business to automate. Less jobs for the “living wage”.
Minimum wage is bad idea. Minimum wage encourages low-level immigration and discourages companies from hiring younger employees and providing them with much needed job experience.
Minimum wage encourages and pointless increase in price. If we halt low level immigration, American workers would have significant bargaining power when it comes to unskilled labor jobs, as their demands become to high it would increase automation in low skilled jobs.
I live in WA, where the minimum wage is $13.50, but I live outside Seattle where 2-bedroom homes can be had for less than a $700/mo mortgage. A husband and wife on minimum wage would have a monthly income of $3,000/mo. Minimum wage is meant for children/students/disabled. You're t supposed to spend your life on it.
flipping burgers is not a career
>anyways higher minimum wage is based because wages have been stagnant forever.
This is true, but simply raising the minimum wage is the brainlet take on how to fix it. The reasons why wages have been stagnant have to be addressed first, otherwise bumping up the min wage will do absolutely fuck all and will actively make things worse.
