No. Youd probably see a similar type campaign as the WW2 Japanese campaign.
You would see the initial naval campaigns transitioning into island hopping. Heavy emphasis on aircraft carriers and other naval force projection assets. Hell, the USMC recently announced they were going to dramatically change the EU, MAGTFs, and totally disband their armored units for highly mobile units focusing on island based tactics.
The main priority would be to isolate China after destroying her naval capabilities. Then establish at least air superiority to conduct large scale bombing campaigns on their infrastructure and industrial sector. Japan and the Philippines would be crucial for these operations, and perhaps Taiwan if it isnt necessary to recapture it after isolating the PLA and eliminating the Chinese navy.
I can envision a type of anaconda plan as well, as US and maybe NATO units conduct air campaigns from the west as well, as part of a large effort to totally isolate China from any outside trade and assistance.
Obviously there are other factors, and I am no expert, but this all seems to be common sense.
