Just because I believe in science doesn't mean I trust scientists to correctly utilize the scientific method, collected data, or even ask the right questions in the first place. Scientific theories are subject to change, but for the most part I will believe anything considered natural law. When I look at corona stats (99% have a pre-existing condition, average age of death in Italy is 80), it becomes obvious to me that the shutdown, if continued will cause more death and societal upheaval, than letting weak, sick people die. In my town we used to get suicides, and overdoses a few times a year. Since lockdown we've had over 20 suicides, 4 murders, and dozens of people overdosing in their cars. The cure (lockdown) is becoming deadlier than the disease. That's my scientific theory.
