You do realize that healthcare facilities are incentivized to label cause of death as cv regardless of the actual cause of death, right? We'll probably never know the actual numbers due to the near-constant lying of officials and their flunky technicians. They'd be more than happy to report numbers higher than expected, but the actual numbers are likely unsatisfactorily low, and must be exaggerated to justify their budgets.
