Van Allen belts are toroidal, with the highest intensity forming a ring around the equatorial region (hence "belt" and not "sphere"). The astronauts used an inclined orbit (easily achieved given where they launched from) to essentially fly above or below the belts to get to/from the moon. We went to the moon, but we were eventually told to stop coming back by the beings that reside there.

This still grinds my gears to this day, along with what happened to the original blueprints for the saturn V rockets.

Explain how the buggy driving around on the moon could beam back to earth while bouncing around when it requires a perfect angle not to disrupt the transmission.

It’s just weird how flying saucers just started being seen right after WWII. Antarctica is right next to Argentina. Why do they do it? For propaganda purposes obviously. The USSR and USA at the very tippy top above even the presidents must have been working together the whole time. You can check it yourself by using a somewhat strong laser and targeting it.
While doing so, you look at the moon with a telescope.
With roughly one second of delay due to the distance, you will see the reflection.
