Does this kill the opiate industry? I found it and tried it for the first time after reading the government wanted to ban it.
Non druggies only - I don’t care if you use it because you’re a fucking pill head.

used it as pre-workout for a bit. preferred it to caffeine honestly
tolerance builds unbelievably quickly, like within days, and good luck trying to take a shit
not worth it
I fall in and out of live with it. I like a red strain in the morning w/ my coffee. I find if I dose too high I can have trouble articulating at work though. Like all things, in moderation. Kratom is awesome though.
I tried it and it was gay. on another note, what is the best vendor to buy mimosa hostilis root bark from?
love**
bad chemical. alkaline metals that mimic the effects of opioids? pass.
Tried it once because it was advertised as a pain reliever. Had a rough day at work and didn’t want to keep eating Advil.
I wasn’t impressed. Got enough for several doses. Still have most of it.
Same withdraw symptoms as opiates. Have fun.
Kratom is something not to be fucked with.
Its good for pain and energy but its very addictive. Been on this for 2 years and the withdrawal effects are horrible. Headaches, hallucinations, lethargy as well as diarrhea.
Use at max twice a week. If you take this every day, you will get addicted.
I have ten pouches sitting here, but I tried my first batch and it was so nasty tasting it upset my stomach. It didn’t do much but make me slightly numb.
Do the different strains actually make a difference? I bought a sampler batch with 4 different types.... after my first attempt.. I haven’t bothered trying the other types yet.
>non druggies only
>make a a thread entirely about a drug
Stupid fucking nigger
No where near as bad my man, I've gone through a kilo over the course of a couple months and felt like I had a bit of a cold for 2 days. Hell even coming off weed is worse than coming off kratom, especially if kratom isn't the only opiate you've had to come off of, and the people who should be using it most are those who use opiates
this is insanely wrong
i'd say don't use it at all because it really doesn't do much. but withdrawal symptoms? come on
I just took 14 capsules of red Bali and drinking coffee. Feelsgoodman
What was your dosage? I took 3g 3x/day for months and didn't really notice a change in effect.
But: I have ADHD and it was a white strain so results may vary.
Yellows and whites felt the best for me - made my friends nauseous. Friends prefer red.
There are a couple organic dye vendors online that are fairly easy to find.
thanks. will look now
yes kratom has withdrawal symptoms i dont know what youre on about buddy
Sounds like a bad time, CBD and advil work fine enough for me.
didnt feel shit when I tried it.
I’ll at least try them, but so far... it’s not my thing.
I have taken it off and on for years I never had withdrawals. however my doses are apparently considered low. the people on youtube taking it are taking huge amounts.
Did it once or twice (green/brown I believe). Was really nice.
If the addictiveness and tolerance build-up is as strong as they say it might not really pay off due to cost/benefit.
I think his point was is it any good as a medicine or supplement as opposed to something just to get high off of for shits and giggles like people do with pills.
>Does this kill the opiate industry?
No.
>Non druggies only
Checking in. Experimented with 100g back in 2019, recorded a dosage log (willing to post if interested) and then subsequently never used Kratom again. There are pros and cons, and I found it an enjoyable anxiolytic, but its odd stimulant-like effects and side effects negated the positive.
Pros:
>Anxiolytic
>Helped me sleep (in the weirdest way, not sure if restful)
>Cheap
>Could see how this could be used to taper off of something else
>Didn't feel addictive to me
Cons:
>First time ever being constipated after only 7 day's use
>Tolerance builds quickly
>Opiate-like itchiness sets in, mildly annoying
>Restricted ability to articulate thoughts
This is not a thinking man's drug and ultimately I felt like a 5ovboi drinking that shit. Does it need to be banned? Fuck no.
i would take about a tablespoon and wash it down with water. this was probably too much, but whenever i use substances i will overdo it. it is just how i am. it's more than 3g in a tablespoon
first couple times it was excellent. great energy in the gym and i was in a good mood really
i developed a tolerance within a few uses. im not kidding, and i wasn't being fooled by placebo or whatever. i have done almost any drug you can think of at least once, but never much more than that
kratom has an effect that is noticeable, but it is very subtle and at least for me i developed a tolerance incredibly quickly
the most noticeable effect is that you get constipated
It can sure be a great alternative to benzos or opioids, concerning occasional use. For frequent use it might not be efficient.
Yeah-I'm glad some druggies use it to get clean. But most druggies use it to bridge the gap between scores because the Kratom acts on the brain's opiod receptors and keeps them from getting sick. I can't imagine getting high off this stuff, but I've read where some addicts take up to 30 grams at a time.
I have been using this at the same dose (depending on pain level 1/2 to 1 tsp every 6 hours or so) for 10 years. ZERO side effects, the largest dose I've ever taken was 2 tsp. The worst side effect was sleepy that time. Otherwise zero side effects, liver find, no tolerance issues. I often "forget" a dose if I'm not in pain (pain says-take your meds) so no jonesing for it. 1 tsp =2.5 grams.
I drink a lot of water anyway so no issues shitting. I've gotten a few others with severe pain issues to try it. You have to find your sweet spot dose. I ALWAYS boil water, cover dose with an inch or two, let it cool stir and drink it.
ANYONE complaining of how it tastes or addiction-does not have serious pain issues.
How I tell people to start to find their sweet spot is to take 1/4 tsp, wait an hourish, see how that feels, then slowly up the dose by 1/4 tsp until you get that pain relief spot. In 10 years of using this I've not had a single tolerance issue (IE needing to raise the dose because it's not working) I actually need pain relief, my body uses it for that and it works.
>I just took 14 capsules
holy shit bro.
I swap strains having found the ones that work best for me. I use Green MN, Red Kapashulu, Bali gold, white horn and custom 8-1 in rotation.
I wouldn't care wtf it tastes like, the pain relief is so awesome I fucking swallow anything that gave this kind of pain relief with no side effects. (unless you are one of the few people on earth that has a liver mutation that would cause a reaction, or you don't drink enough water.)
I fucking resent the idiots that are taking this shit expecting to have a good time.
It should be banned except in the case of recovering addicts. I knew a guy that developed black eyes after taking the stuff for so long. That shit fucked up his eyes. That shit has like 30 different active compounds.
non-druggie here
several of my druggie friends swear by it as a more effective addiction recovery tool than anything prescribed by a doctor
Like bags under his eyes?
got lyme a few years back and this helped with energy and aching pains. side effects were constipation and i was drinking a gallon+ a day at the time. i still have a good amount so i may take the bags back out and try it out for my mild depression.
it seems to work different for everyone, like most drugs, but even more so. there also seems to be a dosage sweet spot and the different strains have noticeable different effects too.
my friends also used it to help with heroin withdrawals between scores.
i wouldn't use it expecting to get fucked up any more than you'd drink a coffee or drink tea with the same expectation.
