>Changed his plea to guilty Does this mean they broke him? He's going down for life no matter how he pleads.
Is this just a bargaining chip, or did they successfully isolate him and convince him that he did the wrong thing. He's been excluded from all media so he can't know how much impact he had. It seems rational that he's had a change of heart after being isolated.
How could he plead "not guilty" he literally livestreamed himself doing it.
Sebastian Morgan
IIRC his argument was along the lines of it being legal to attack an invading army

This is what I came here to ask -- how was Not Guilty even accepted? Even if a Guilty plea led to trial it would be over in five minutes. Are the courts that retarded?
Jason Williams
Maybe he didn't do it. That's what the trial is for.
New Zealand has some weird law about a citizens right to defend himself against an invading army and he was going to claim he was protected under this
Carson Jones
I don't really believe them about much other than the weather. Who really knows what his plea is or if he is dead or alive
Eli Stewart
He said in his manifesto he'd plead not guilty, and he did at first. The change in his plea is most likely due to his legal representative "advice", who most likely wants to get him in prison anyway.
