Toyota is a relatively good company that makes good cars. I'd rather buy a Toyota than American cars (trash).

i've actually been considering replacing my 2005 ford focus for something new. it's reliable and runs fine, but it's banged up and unsightly.

i might go with a toyota for my new car.

Always need a reliable car during the apocalypse. Haven't you seen the walking dead?

i’m already sick of these “we totally really care about you and you should buy product” commercials, but it works on 8/10 amerimutts so what can you do.

Out of work?
Hungry?
Eat your import.
It was true 40 years ago.
Its true now.

Buy American.

Crazy as it sounds, that Toyota is made with more american workers than GM or Ford

I'd toy with her yota, ngl

all these Japanese product shills coming in the thread I see

brainlet

Exactly. These companies were never there for you. The commercials are getting fucking annoying

Anyone just want to raw dog her?

but what if people want to buy a _good_ car

>i've actually been considering replacing my 2005 ford focus for something new. it's reliable and runs fine, but it's banged up and unsightly.
This is why poor people stay poor or go into massive debt

Any car with the proper maintenance should last a fucking lifetime. Falling for the brand jew is pure propaganda to keep you buying newer cars

Really look at a Prius. I own one and it is the most reliable car I've ever had. Goes for a million miles, easy no-nonsense car.

Fuck off lanklet you probably take public transportation like a good goy.

>A Toyota commercial in which they advise you to buy a Toyota
HOW COULD THEY?!

>Any car with the proper maintenance
Yeah in of course as long as you keep throwing money at it, the question is how much will it set you back. A Toyota will cost you a hell of a lot less in repairs in 20 years time.

You haven't had a lot of cars, huh?

How did all the global corporations get these professionally made commercials out so fast? How are they getting film crews and actors together to make them?

>Ford was the Official Pol Choice in the 30s

"Hitler was a great admirer of Henry Ford. For his services to Nazi Germany, in 1938 the American magnate was presented with the Grand Cross of the Order of the German Eagle, the Third Reich’s highest civilian award for which foreigners were eligible, of which only fourteen were ever awarded"

Saying that is meaningless, considering American brands are non-existent in Europe (except Ford) and that all non-Euro brands have to make their cars in Europe to sell them here anyway. So whether you buy a Ford or a Toyota, they are neither American nor Japanese, either in design or build. They are European designed and made, and are neither more nor less reliable than Euro brands. All modern cars are unreliable because they pack too much electronics, many parts are outsourced to shithole countries, and planned obsolescence is a very real thing.

tl;dr : you are a bluepilled coonsumer.

No, I live next to the German border. No public transportation here, I have a car.

Toyotas are based and make Euros seethe as a 7k Toyota Corolla is more reliable and superior to any 40k German car.
Enjoy your auto recession, Krauts.

Money

That's weird, my made in Japan hybrid already has 340k on the clock with no major breakdowns. Stupid French frog.

Light work

>Spams you with ads, emails, and letters
>We totally care about you
>Okay, how bout a discount
>What? Our prices are final!

Fuck off, typical patronizing bullshit.

this, fpbp.

toyota, honda, nissan are all good that require little or no maintenance

I'll buy from Japanese automakers just because the Japanese bean counters aren't as jew-y as the American ones.
A study between the "malaise" American cars of the 1970's-1980's and the Japanese cars of the same time found the Japanese cars were more dependable not because they were assembled in ways that were drastically different but because the Japanese cars spent more on materials. IE, making water pump impellers out of metal rather than plastic like the Americans, making the exhaust pipes from a more corrosion resistant form of steel rather than the pot metal American companies were using.
And this trend still continues with people buying the high end, Corvettes, Cadillacs, etc complaining about recognizing the same parts used as those in rental fleet vehicles.
Fuck American bean counters and CEO's for pushing sub standard products on the US customer.

Toyota goes cheap on their cars and somehow are still more reliable than 90% of the market. In my experience the only reliable American cars are Rams and Grand Cherokees.

>hurrrrr durrrrr
kys

They would buy American then

UNCERTAIN TIMES AAAAH STOP SAYING IT FUCK YOUUUU UNCERTAIN TIMES UNCERTAIN TIMES

>running low on cash
>buy an overpriced car

yeah, fuck off

No because I take care of the ones I have. My 02 ram 1500 runs like a fucking champ and all I’ve had to replace was a leaking radiator. Here’s a protip for any car you get, buy a haynes manual or similar

Nah, you are a fucking retard if you seriously believe any car sold here is made outside of the EU.

If you do maintenance at the proper intervals it’s not expensive at all. Probably the biggest cost is doing a transmission flush which you only need to do every 80k miles or so

>No delayed payments
>get repossessed
>ruin credit

>the only reliable american cars are chryslers
AHAHAHHA what a fucking idiot
XJs are tanks but thats 20 years gone

AGGHHHHH IM IM IM IM GOOONNNAAA CONSOOOOOOOOME

>a lifetime
Nigga, you dumb

If you notice most of the covid commercials are just generic stock footage with a voice over. Most likely old footage they're using so they could quickly throw something together.

Kek

Alright buy an alfa romeo or a chrysler and tell me how well its holding up by 80k with just oil changes

If I hear in these unprecedented times or uncertain times again I'm going to shoot my fucking TV.

>never bought a used European car

If you take care of your car it will last a lifetime. The only reason people want to buy new cars is for the fucking status symbol of not being poor and girls wanting to fuck you. A 90’s civic with maintenance done at the proper time intervals will run just as efficiently as many modern cars

Guaranteed you follow this maintenance schedule and don’t drive like a nigger it’ll run just fine
openbay.com/maintenance/2018-chrysler-300

>if you replace everything that breaks then those things wont be broken anymore

>buying used
It’s a fucking gamble. The best choice is to buy a new car and take care of it unless you trust the previous owner did proper maintenance on it

You my sir are deluded.

I said maintenance not repairs

You just named a Chrysler you dumb ass.

Tacoma/Hilux is the pickup truck of peace, speaking of maintenance, reliability, and diversity.
Find what vehicles in your area that depreciate the less, and there you have your next car.
On a side note, i hate toyota/lexus/honda reliability tax from normies.

How so?
