the story is considered such because the kid who said it pointed to a place that Bernall was opposite of. But remember, the counter was spoken by a child during an active shooting situation, who had no visual, and was in the same room with the active shooter killing people. The amount of stress on the mind in the situation was enough to bring doubt. BUT, there are several others who stated that it was in fact Bernall who stated this. It's also recognized by evangelical christians to be true.
