Banks in the UK pocketed the bailout money, turned down 300,000 applications for government loans the money was supposed to be for, and only granted 4000 payments. That's fucking outstanding, even for banks.

the u.s is the richest and most powerful nation on the planet but the most common source of bankruptcy is medical debt. You don't even need to implement full universal healthcare, even places like Japan that still have insurance it's orders of magnitude cheaper (and dental is covered instead of being separate because fuck you that's why)
