Happy Easter

Christ is risen!

Happy Easter to all my brothers and sisters.=)

Whether or not hes risen on this day, praise Jesus Christ forever.

It was sad to see our priest and cantor in an empty church, but still nice they were able to do it and broadcast it over the internet to the congregation.

That was a week ago or so

Jesus denounced the teachings of the pharisees
What Jews today still practice.

Real Easter is today

There was an interesting story about St Nicholas in NYC and Easter at Mount Athos in Greece on 60 Minutes:

If you have to say it’s real it’s not real

It was last week

Real Easter is on the Spring Equinox

Happy Easter!

Huh. I don't think I ever bought an icon of The Resurrection. There's a really nice one at the back of my church. I just put up one of Mary and baby Jesus. I kept saying I was going to wait to repaint my walls to put up more icons, but that's not going to happen right now.

>There's a really nice one at the back of my church.
can you steal it?

I find relics of saints interesting, but that is pretty dumb. Some of these rural churches are odd.

Oh and Brother Nathaniel is a schmuck. He went to a local seminary, but they ended up kicking him out. He was harassing the local Jewish community too. Funny since he is a Jewish convert.

Nothing but hate comes from his mouth. He is the false teachers Jesus the son warned us about.

What would Jesus steal?
Plus it's painted on the actual wall, so I doubt that's possible. The other side, in front of the candles, is a beautiful new mosaic of the three angels that visited Abraham.

t. "The gypsy remains a gypsy also in the Resurrection Day." - old romanian proverb

It’s weird that the Eastern Orthodox celebrate Easter according to the Julian calendar like the miaphysites do but they celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar. Can someone please explain this?

May the Lord, the Son and the Holy Spirit watch over us in these troubled times broskis
