YouTubers, entertainers in general, earn more money and have larger net worths than doctors. Is it really worth putting all the hard effort in college, medical school, residency and fellowship just to get ~200k dollars a year?
Is it worth becoming a doctor?

Only narcissist become (((doctors))). Real people with medical skills help their community out for free and do it naturally.
this
Medical school isn't going to pay for itself though.
You can't become a doctor with that attitude. You need to KNOW that you're a doctor and KNOW that you're better than everyone.
Without overflowing narcissism you will not even be able to lie and swindle half as much as is necessary to succeed in the medical industry.
I see doctors from India all the fucking time some of them look like teenagers. I bet you could do your degree in India for cheap as chips. ;)
>read human anatomy and medical books
>practice surgical techniques on animals
>skills transfer as long as you know which bits are where in a human patient
Memorizing all the bullshit about which combinations of drugs kill people is the only hard part.
My point is that practicing medicine has a high risk to it. You could lose your license to practice medicine if you screw up. YouTubers on the other hand post "entertaining" videos and earn a lot of money because of their sponsors and advertisers. However, they are not a large supporting pillar of society like doctors yet they earn more? Without doctors or medical officials who will heal our society. Why do entertainers earn more money?
>Why do entertainers earn more money?
How are you just asking this now? Youtubers finally made your brain click on? It's been going on since television was invented.
Not every youtuber can attract a good audience and shit out enough content to keep them entertained, you know. They work exactly the same as any other celebrity. You need to be attractive and charismatic to succeed at it PLUS be one of the lucky few who just happens to get the formula right and obtain a following. It's not like any random asshole can start making videos and suddenly earn six figures.
Doctor bashing is exclusively an American thing, partly because Americans
>pay shit tons for healthcare
>are unscientific/anti-intellectual retards who look down on learned, intellectual professions
>think they could have made it, but were too stupid
>think doctors are rolling in bank without considering the high suicide rate, decade+ of training, financial cost, responsibility, and work culture
>Have little respect for doctors due to the (((media))), instead trust naturopaths, crystal healers, voodoo, and chiropractors
Fuck this country. Yes, only narcissists and type A people become doctors. It's the only profession where you have to make live-changing decisions every single day. Cops, nurses, EMTs don't do shit in comparison. Only blue collar "first responder" job I can respect is firefighers.
Is it worth it becoming a doctor? For the money? Fuck no. If you really want to do it? Sure, why not.
> t. Medical Student I
>Doctor bashing is exclusively an American thing
Because doctors are held in high-regard here. In most countries doctors are not any more respected than your average salaryman.
>t. medical student
oh so you want us to kiss your ass because you decided to go to med school? Lol. Shut up and take my temperature, junior.
Welcome to America, dipshit
Charge less and watch them worship you
>are unscientific/anti-intellectual retards who look down on learned, intellectual professions
Yes goy, don't question doctors, most of them definitely aren't Jewish and absolutely didn't get into medical school solely on nepotism, and all the nursing staff who support them are most certainly better than braindead sheboons and roastie single mothers. Listen to the pharmaceutical commercials telling you that you need to buy more drugs to combat natural emotions and remove the human condition from your consciousness so that you can be a better sla- I mean, uh, productive member of society.
Jewish trick: get your degree in south Africa, it's like 5 grand a year or some shit.
A society without "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and other mind polluting entertainers won't affect society that much. A society without doctors though is something else. Why does Kim K, or any of these "entertainers" earn more money than doctors?
no maybe quite begging for dick sucking.

doctors fucking up is the 3rd largest cause of death in the USA

This is from the UK, their health workers are spat on in public. Think along the lines of how returning US troops were treated in America after Vietnam.
For some people, being a doctor is the easiest path toward making money. Not everyone can make it big as an entertainer, especially long term.
I'm type B and I hate work in general. I have no talent except for learning, this was my only option to get rich, and there are plenty of specialties where you're not making life-changing decisions.
>t. Medical Student
I can do a better job then doctors just by using google.
If there are no doctors, then no one will take your temperature, retard.

To all my dear patients:
>NEVER EVER trust a NP and when a cute, young girl in a lab coat introduces herself as a "Dr. McSugartits", if she's too cute and young, she's not a doctor. She's a nurse practitioner, a trained monkey that studied for 2,000 hours instead of your friendly MD's 40,000. Demand to be seen by a physician (MD/DO), not a glorified nurse.
>PAs are not doctors either. 2 years of surface-level training versus your MDs 6+
>Please lose some weight and check your blood sugar, most have diabetes or pre-diabetes without knowing it
>Reminder to drink water
>Don't sleep too late
>Take care of yourself
>You tell me.
Very bottom number is hourly pay rate.
>You could lose your license to practice medicine if you screw up.
or if you say that blue light keeps people awake at night. or if you say circumcision is bad. or if you say blanching the umbilical cord is healthy. or if you tell your neighbour to eat chicken soup when they have a cold.
My point is they MAKE you break rules so that they can put you under their thumb in the first place. There are no free doctors.
Do what makes you the most money duh
>Is it worth it becoming a doctor? For the money? Fuck no.
Liar.
You must be at least 18 to post on this website
It's a solid upper middle class career with almost guaranteed returns if you stay with it. JewTube is more volatile than the oil industry.
Psych/derm/FM might be comfy but you're still changing people's lives
Regulation within the internet entertainment system is coming
Uncle Sam is gonna get his share from all the little fucks that have been getting away with dancing and stripping on the internet for free rides and when the day comes a lot of people are gonna be very poor
It really isnt. I could probably make more working less hard doing anything else. But theres no gaurantee of climbing the corporate or managerial ladder i other career paths.
Doc is gauranteed 6 figs. But earning potential is severely limited compared to other proffessions.
No. You're just going to die to the next chinese bio weapon while trying to save niggers that hate you.
>anesthesiologist
kek, 100 bucks says that bitch hired 4 nurse anesthetists who do all the work while she signs the checks.

Higher suicide rate than muh veterans but you don't hear shit about it, other than the vague "it's a stressful job"
You can learn about stock marketing and make a ton of money, more money than doctors.
>who will heal our society
maybe uhh I dunno, NATURAL SELECTION and throw a bit of CHARITY in there too.
If an illness is "easily treatable" then it should be easy to treat at home, Becky should be able to treat herself with some bulk orders from some online store. No medic needed.
If an illness is "not easily treatable" then sure, hire your medics. But that still counts as a black mark against your name. Only healthy people are of value to us.
>being a doctor is the easiest path toward making money.
You’re a fucking idiot then. This is a horrible career for making lots of money.
t. Medical student
I am 20, third year in college with above average GPA.
Earning potential is limited only by your own choosing. Open up your own dialysis center and rake in tens of millions a year. Make extra money while working in the ED as a medical director for an EMS service. Open up anclinic but defer the work to an NP or PA. Plenty of ways to make bank as a doctor, so quit fucking grandstanding.
First of all, $200K a year risk-free puts you at the 98.5th percentile in American society.
Second of all, the other paths to a starting salary near $200K a year risk-free are:
- Law Degree at a top program (about the same number of years)
- PhD in Economics at a top program (i.e., at least 6 years after college rather than 3 -- plus much lower acceptance rates)
- Math/Physics BA degree plus good recommendations/connections to get a job as a quant on Wall Street
If you're a really good businessman, of course, you can set up a business, but that entails high amounts of risk even if you have good connections (similar to trying to become a front-office trader on Wall Street), unlike the above, which lock in your earnings with more certainty. The thing that sets an MD apart from the above is that doctors are in such high demand that you can go to a mediocre program and still get a $200k a year job as a doctor. Get a law degree or an Econ PhD from a mediocre program, and you'll be starting at much closer to $90-110K instead of $170-200K.
So, if you're someone who's generally talented but not exceptionally talented or genius in specific fields, then yes, an MD is the best way to make big bucks in this country.
Not really. You make good money, you just have no time to enjoy your money. Take the veterinarian pill. Much better
Agreed medbro, tech is killing it while I'm still a fucking bum who does flashcards all day
99.99% of YouTubers earn nothing.
If you graduate from med school, you're guaranteed $150K+/yr for the rest of your life.
Massive amounts of school debt, and shit pay as a resident. The inflated salary once you finally certify as a specialist is needed to just to catch up to other careers.
That's the dumbest argument I've read. It is up there with eugenics. You don't care about the elderly? Or innocent infants who were prematurely born?
Vets kill themselves plenty as well user same long training, long hours, high demand as docs
>Why do entertainers earn more money
Thats only the best entertainers though. Like maybe .1% of people who "entertain"
>mediocre lawyer
>starting at 90k
Oh boy, you REALLY haven't been paying attention to that field have you? So many lawyers are barely scraping by at 60k with 200k debt because the field is so oversaturated. A lot can't even find employment unless its being a public defender. That's what happens when there's like 200+ law schools out there and education becomes a revolving door
>Is it worth becoming a doctor?
Depends what discipline. If it was something like orthopedics, fixing broken bones, sports injuries, physical injuries yes.
If it's treatment of disease, HELL NO. USA disease doctors are in a system that puts profit over healing. They don't know jack shit about nutrition and never ever help people avoid disease or try to cure anything by improving general health. It's always synthetic pharmaceuticals that only treat symptoms, don't heal and have slow kill long term side effects.
Chemo therapy is worse than cancer and causes other cancers. Proof is 90% of oncologists will not submit to the treatment because they see firsthand how horrible and ineffective it is.
In short I would stay away from anything that involves drugs for treatment and lean toward anything that's just physical repair.
I don't want to kill myself...
