Have you planted your (((garden))) yet?
The jew fears the backyard gardener
I can't get seeds
I have planted a few things like beans and tomatoes, just need more space
Nah the groundwater is poisoning the soil. Runoff from a local superfund site or something. Probably ruined for generations.
We're getting ours ready again
We do this every year
Can't wait for the strawberries
Mom has a garden but hurricanes keep uprooting shit.
We only have a mango and lemon tree left.
Most weeds around your house are not only edible but very nutritious. Dandelion for example is loaded with vitamins. But big (((corporations))) market diy poison for your land so you can go to their stores and purchase worthless iceberg lettuce.
Why am I only finding out about this now...
Gardening is for jews
Why not?
Still too cold by me, gotta wait until mid may.
No grass is poisonous. Chickweed is good scrambled with eggs but there are somethings that look like it that are not good to eat.
Acorns are food. My understanding is that oak trees are literally everywhere in continental USA, but nobody eats acorns.
Yeah, my potato plants keep falling over (I think too much Nitrogen in the soil) and flea beetles have just about ate my poor Okra plants to death before I started dusting them with diatomaceous earth and they're recovering really slowly.
Everything else seems to be doing pretty well.
I've got a nice harvest of khazarmilkers dot coms this season. Bountiful and delightful.
They have to be processed correctly to remove the bad tasting tannins.
You gotta mess with them to make them edible. I think you gotta boil them to neutralize some kinda acid or else you get a stomach ache
just planted green peppers, onions, garlic, tomatoes, egg plants, carrots, lettuce and cucumbers. I've done everything but the egg plants, should be interesting, need to add some hot peppers into the mix.
You can't live off vegetables (not that I eat them anyway).
You need land primarily for milk and meat production.
The redpill here is that gardening isn't really worth the time or effort, least of all when your key food sources are not even secure.
Ok shlomo
That's like saying you can't live off ramen. Tell that to the niggers that ate cooked leather during stalingrad. What would you rather have, months of free food or not? Simple choice really.
Yes
Gardening is worth the effort almost immediately and the rewards only grow with time.
You're welcome to do so with your own degenerate life. That's not a food source I'd want to be having kids on.
And how stupid does one have to be to defer to the story of dog shit rationed food for armed slaves during wartime?
Is growing weed based?
Depends on whether or not the garden is even native to the region you're located within. And whether or not you're growing stuff that's even conducive to health.
I used to grow all this shit but I realized the hard way that it's mostly unnecessary, back breaking and a general waste of time for the "feelz".
kek yes being self sufficient with nutritious vegetables while having 3 deep freezers full of venison is degenerate, more for me!
Only low grade Mexican laughing weed not the high concentration "medical" stuff.
Based? Don't care but I enjoy it
I live in a tiny apartment and cannot even afford a down payment on a small house.
zoomers and millennials can't afford housing with backyards, we all live in shitty apartments because our economy is fucked (now more than ever)
>don't rely on yourself goy!
found the jew
Vegetables aren't exactly nutritious. And venison is overrated.
search "eat the weeds" on youtube
>months of free food
>free
>Vegetables aren't exactly nutritious.
stop pretending to be retarded
>And venison is overrated.
absolutely delicious for me!
Ebay has plenty, dont get disheartened
And you can use old spuds from the cupboards
Didn't say not to rely on yourself. But I am saying not to rely on vegetables, or even bother with them, when you can secure egg, milk and meat supplies with all the land one would use for vegetables.
Yes I have been looking into it myself but I am just a humble rice farmer
Plant tobacco next to potato to keep bugs away
Seriously, vegetables are not all that good for you. The venison alone would be better.
Have you earthed them up enough?
If only samsung made 2ft/4ft LED strips that can be connected to an HLG driver to grow plants indoors with very little energy draw.
You can only trust food you grow yourself
>poison ivy is edible
This isn't like the DIY crystal with ammonia right?
Anyone ever try growing asparagus? I'm thinking about giving it a shot. I've heard that it takes a few years till it's ready. PNW climate if that helps.
how did your closet chickens go? honestly
Same, but the skills I learned were useful when I shit myself over potential rationing and restarted my veg patch
And?
where do i sleep, retard?
>months
From the country that gave us the channel, Self Sufficient Me, you're a disgrace to Australia.
Seeds are all around you. You buy them in produce. Go find a master gardener in your town and barter for seeds.
Vertical growing, retard. You need a single 2ft by say 4-5ft space. Stack 3 shelves, 2ft apart. Each shelf using 2x 2ft strips.
I own land next to a wide swamp/creek, dunno the proper word in english.
Is it hard to grow rice or other water crops?
Eattheweeds.com
I have a sweet garden, took a lean farming class at clay bottom farms. Lean farming. Plus 10 chickens.
>Fungi mounds
Smart. That's probably the only thing Varg mentioned that I agree with.
Garden and Chickens mother fucker.
Or just buy them and not be an enormous fag
Dandelion wine is the bomb. I never get rid of them in my yard, and I'm always happy to find them in the wild.
It doesn't take much skill to grow watermelons, parsley and thyme.
Takes a bit more skill to milk a cow or goat, and to keep cows herded. But it would be pretty easy with a general community on board.
Literally just soak and rinse in water to remove tannins. Or just grow a pair and eat it.
Maybe try growing saffron for quite a few shekels depending on your location.
I think you meant to say )))garden((( user
>Fungi mounds
explain
I haven't left my apartment since the beginning of March 9th, I regret not having any beets and sweet potatoes. Garlic and green onions are coming back on my balcony garden though, and I need to start my thai basil seeds. Rationing, I don't have to leave till June? I brought pasta and rice when it was on sale, but iron is going to be a problem. I took the hormone pill to skip my periods since I bleed A LOT, I wasn't able to get more.
So some mornings I'm eating cornflakes with water because calcium interferes with iron absorption, I'm out of fresh milk anyways but no spoon of condensed milk to sweeten it up. Waiting an hour before I have tea because tea also interferes with iron absorption. How the fuck did we as a species not all get eaten by wolves at some point when half of us bleed once a month?
You can't grow strong children on vegetables, but you can malnourish them on vegetables.
Idiot
Are you in the city? City soil is really poisoned desu, don't plant in it
Move to Texas.
