The more I look at his works the more I hate them. He wasn't an artist, he was a propagandist for a bland artform that has come to encompass the mediocrity of our manufactured culture. He attempted to make the bland, shapelessness of our corporate existence something sexy, by confusing us with the counterintuitive shapes of his Lego creations. That is all I see, the brutishness of boxes attempting to deceive the eye.
Seems like it would look great if those slabs of whatever were a pleasing material like wood or brick.

its actually a very shitty house Cramped, difficult for climate control, and developed a mold issue Looks great for the pics, is hell to live in
Hudson Martin

People who get a raging hard-on for Falling Water show themselves up to be brainlet pseuds. Aesthetically it is quite a pleasing house but functionally it is terrible, as has already said. The same can be said of a lot of FLW's biggest and best known designs, they aren't great for actually living in. Some of his less well-known work is good though, combining his taste for aesthetics with actual working designs that you can use.
Agreed, total fuckwit. The house is surrounded by trees, theres going to be 2000 lbs of leaves and tree-ces on all those flat surfaces every year. Without a full time maintenance crew that place is a shit hole in 4 years.

>me no like thing >no one else allowed to like thing either
you try to make rocket science out of a matter of taste. get over yourself. it's not that important.
Ian Jackson
Are you tall by any chance?
Cooper Wright
It is, everything from architecture to people affects society. If architecture promotes shit designs, then wont be suprised when shit designs start being used in social life.

>House, is a distinctive elliptical curved house built in Genesee, Jefferson County, Colorado, on Genesee Mountain in 1963 by architect Charles Deaton. It is featured prominently in the 1973 Woody Allen sci-fi comedy Sleeper No. Just trying to keep things in perspective. FLW isn't near as bad as an attempt at a Jetson House. I like FLW.
Connor Gonzalez
>and developed a mold issue Ahhaha this guy is unique. What a hack hahaha
I have violent wet dreams about owning a marmol-radziner home... Banned from posting pics but look them up, same style maybe a bit more modern marmol-radziner dot com slash vienna-way-architecture

looks kind of like Bernard's house in westworld
Ayden Johnson
you see pure shapes without adornments and flourishs, that doesn't mean that the other buildings had less basic shapes. You are a victim of the illusion of the adornments
Logan Martinez
Have you been watching season 3? They're killing the show with "sTrOnG wOmYn" bullshit
Anthony Gutierrez
but I'm not saying the more basic the shapes the worst
David Jenkins
yeah that's every tv show and movie in the past 4 years unfortunately
Blake Walker
Naw. It’s a uniquely American style and should b3 praised as an addition to your culture. Of course since you are a fucking Jew, you want to turn on and hate all parts of your culture now. So fuck you.
