Global CO2 emissions are way down. If the climate change people are right, then everyone benefits from this. There is some country that is losing land rapidly to sea level rise, they are probably benefiting most.
I’m not so sure about that. True, USA will take some economic hits, but I’d argue that’s what they need. Western society is getting fat and lazy as evidenced by the fact that transgender issues are actually a part of the political dialogue. If corona gets people to focus on practical matters again, that’ll be a win.
