A child never goes to these things unaccompanied for 2 reasons:
1. No child would ever go on their own because these are not child-appropriate places to be. I'm gay, and when I was younger (22) I went to one of these events. My first question was "Should children be allowed here?" There was a sex toy demo and a leather exhibition out in the open, with kids walking around. I thought that was messed up and left, havent gone to one since; even on my way out I had seen all the "cool moms" waiting in line to come in with their kids and it weirded me out. which brings me to:
2. Nowadays sexuality isn't something that is discovered naturally like it used to be. Parents see their kids as totems to show off their wokeness, so even the slightest deviation from the norm is preyed upon and the child is groomed into the lifestyle. Parents drag kids to these things and basically tell them "Look how happy and free and virtuous these people are! Be like them and you can be happy!".
