It's really just enslavement to a collective. Capitalism protects individual rights. Everyone would be better off if people just tried to fix capitalism, root out the corruption. I'm not talking about the system we have now, which is just corrupt and rife with corporate welfare and an unfair tax code, but ultimately the system that our society should function on is a capitalist one. It's just the best means of protecting people from atrocities and violations of their rights.
BTW just to be clear saying you support capitalism really doesn't mean in any way that you support the status quo or the way that things are right now. It often means very much the opposite of that

When a free market is healthy, socialism can be toxic
HOWEVER, when a "free market" is toxic, socialist policies can be medicinal
An ideologically purist approach to political or economic systems is idiocy. During war, famine or pestilence a socialist approach can be beneficial. During times of peace and plenty, restricted government and open markets are beneficial.
