Boomers
>everyone could get a job
>never needed to even complete highschool
>simply walked into place and got hired on spot to work
>wage was enough to stay at home and provide for the whole family
>house and car all paid off within a year or two
>most of them retired early or just sit on their ass and get paid
Gen X
>easily gets job, have to go out of your way to not get a job in this era
>slightly require some education or none
>plenty of jobs available
>all high paying and stable, usually permanent
>all were able to invest and have lots of savings
>now sit in cushy upper management jobs given to them by boomers where they basically sit around and get paid
Millenials
>getting a job has become more difficult
>boomers and Gen X refuse to pass on or teach ways of the job
>education is mostly required at this point
>still have a job market but it's become increasingly harder
>nepotism has taken over, getting referred is starting to become the only way to get a real fulfilling career
>lots of millenials didn't make it, many are unemployed and have never had a job in their late 20's and early 30's
Gen Z
>jobs are rarely available
>usually 100-200 applicants per position
>education is completely necessary at this point to even get a low paying job
>shitty retails and sales jobs are only things available
>only way to get a proper profession is by getting referred and having strong connections or having a family company you can work for
>many will never work a job or even work a career above retail in their lifetime
>nepotism has completely taken over
>majority will never be able to vacation, buy cars, get married, etc...
Keep in mind, this was all BEFORE coronavirus happened, Gen Z are absolutely fucked now unless they have immediate family to get them jobs, even their close friends will not refer them as to fear of losing their positions because of how fucked the economy is. Where the fuck does it even go from here?
