Which is the more important part, just as you accuse Trump supporters of being deliberately blind to Trumps ill’s so to are the supporters of other political entities. Trump is far more frequently attacked for gaffes and invented scandals that are by and large inconsequential in their impact and serve only to make him look bad. This suggests his policies are harder to attack than his character and it his policies, however they are delivered, which I by and large support.
In short, the alternatives are worse human beings who you turn a blind eye to just as we turn a blind eye to Trump, but Trumps policies are correct.
