Confirmed cases in Italy represent less than 0.3% of the population. And now we find only 10% of the population have antibodies (NB antibodies does not necessarily mean immunity).
Look at the devastation associated with less than 0.3% of the population being diagnosed with coronavirus infection and 10% of the population developing antibodies.
This will go on for years before herd immunity can be hoped for.
Stay away from other humans and hope to find an effective vaccine that does not make the disease worse (a feline coronavirus vaccine made the feline coronavirus disease worse).

Often when that's done they will take the absolute worst of the flu (which itself is pretty fucking bad when it's bad), and then say "look it's only 2 or 3 times higher!", while also doing this while one is still ongoing while the other has ended.

I think what Italians did is tested 50,000 donated blood plasmas from across Italy to calibrate the antibody tests. And the results were about 10%.
