pretty sure those were caused by shitty foreign vape fluids contaminated with diacetyl, ethylene glycol and similar toxins and not standard-quality propylene glycol and maybe a handful of severe allergic reactions to PG or vegetable glycerin or flavoring

if you vape USP grade PG and nicotine made in the USA with no flavoring at a stable temperature with a clean ceramic device the chances of sudden vaping death is basically zero.

Vaping does cause a flood of lung fluid to come up. As a former vaper, there were a few times I'd start coughing and a lot of liquid would involuntarily come up. Part of the reason why I haven't vaped in forever.
