wood houses are superior, modular, and you can fix anything that breaks inside it yourself. Not to mention the ease of running cables around the house whether it's electricity or other utilities. Want to expand a room? As long as the wall isn't load bearing, knock that shit down. Want to add cabinets to a room or completely remodel a bathroom? It's actually easy to do it yourself.

This. I have lived in wooden homes that were over 100 years old and I'll be with proper maintenance they'll be there at least anothet 100 years. Id rather live in a double wide on 5 acres than an apartment of similar square footage in a multifamily unit with no yard.
