There were never any "extermination camps." They were WORK camps, equipped with facilities such as swimming pools, cafeterias, theaters, commissaries, gardens, daycare and maternity wards. They had orchestras and sports teams.
No "exterminations" happened. Jews declared war on Germany. Germany had an intestate enemy, and as it's armies advanced, Jews were - and acted as - the enemy, and were dealt with as such. War is bad. Don't declare war on a race of people unless you want them to fight you.
