Not all media is anti Russian here in Italy. There are a few newspapers and TV channels that are pro Russian. Pro Russian views are often represented in talk shows despite not being as common as pro mutt ones.

I lived in Germany for almost 2 years and I noticed that the anti Russian propaganda in Germany is a lot stronger and that most Germans don't like Russia. I think Germany does not have freedom of speech as we have here. My brother lives in Sweden and he says it's the same over there too, lots of censorship and no pluralism.
I don't know about other countries though, but I feel like France has a similar approach to us.

Ukraine had deep trading deals with Russia. US causing a coup in there permanently destroyed those relations, which they aimed to do, to weaken Russia. Ukraine became a puppet state then. Considering there are a lot of Russians living in east of the country, they rebelled because of the coup that basically kicked out their democratically elected government. Crymea afterwards openly called Russia to come in and people voted to join it again. War was inevitable. Same happened here. But same goes on everywhere where US gets involved. Pushes d&c and arms both or one side depending what they want to do.

My theory: US media and politicians are on China payroll. To become officially next undisputed super power - China needs some form of military alliance with Russia. Then it would be game over for US. So, China orders its US minions (Clintons et al) to start anti-Russian hysteria. To force Russia into China's embrace.
