What are you on about? It's a very safe drug and requires only a few days worth of treatment and not several years like the ones who develop loss of sight or hearing. My mom has been taking hydroxychloroquine(Plaquenil) for her rheumatism for 2 years now and is doing fine beside a very small hearing loss that could be attributed to age.
