I guess related because of diversity hires

Do you know a single person who thinks this guy is funny? It's one thing if you're actually funny and a diversity hire, that's mostly fine I guess, but I actually watched his show for like 30 minutes the other day... he's...not a comedian? wtf? How the fuck does this shit fly?

lmao no one under 30 watches late night talk shows

the daily show with stewart and the gang was funny followed by the colbert report. Miss that lineup

>Do you know a single person who thinks this guy is funny?
Yes. I don't find it funny but people do find him funny. Low IQ leftists probably, just like low IQ righties find Yas Forums funny.

Yeah I mean nog-ness aside, he's literally not funny. And that's like the only fucking requirement for the actual fucking job. It's actually sort of insane how bad he his.

His audience is built for BBC

Cause leftist humor isn't funny
It's just degrading and condescending, like bullies

I watched the daily show and Colbert backin the day, I gave Trevor a chance but he’s just not good at all and colberts new show is absolute garbage as well

I think they may have backed themselves so far into the corner of "can't offend anyone" that they are potentially incapable of producing any sort of meaningful comedic commentary on any sort of socially relevant event for fear of angering their base.

Because he's black and half Jewish in the age of woke. It's not the 1980s when Johnny Carson was pulling huge ratings every single night and was well-loved by America. None of the current late night hosts is even popular by any metric.

Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart were okay but idk why he's even there. I know no one who thinks he's funny.

I enjoy watching Comedy Central because usually their shows are pretty comfy, but holy fuck is nothing a bigger buzzkill when this guys show comes on every night. I don’t even disagree with him too often but he is just painfully unfunny.

i used to think colbert report was right leaning for years

He appeals to retarded leftists that laugh at orange man bad... No shit

There are more laughs in a single Stewart episode then in an entire season of this fuck wit’s show . I can’t believe it’s Still on the air.

This is where you’re wrong. Jon Stewart was fucking hilarious, leftist humor and all.

Strong agree, my exact thoughts. Stewart occasionally shilled but when you see that stuff like the 9/11 funding he was fighting for in congress, you could tell he was the real deal.

ha ha he funny mullato south african! he have funny accent so make show funnier! me not racist if me laugh at comedian of color! me netflix and chill!

My asian gf thinks he is funny too

Don lemon is a cnn reporter not a comedian dumbass

Conan, Daily, Colbert, British faggot, and that other late night faggot are all reading from same script and are there to target specific demographics. I watch 3 of them to keep tabs on "left" and they repeat shit word for word. It's not about comedy, it's about programming unsuspecting mind

A psychologist or whatever pointed out on Yas Forums that the goals of these programs are not to be comedic, but to reinforce a conditioning that works through repetition. I believe he said it was to the effect of: state relevance of something in the news > argue poorly/create a non-sequitur > make a quip > laughs from the audience. The goal is to reinforce the "stupidity" of the offender, as if to say to the viewer, "why aren't you laughing? He's obviously wrong." It is a psychological tool that has real-world implications, and I'm sure that each show is utilized for a different target audience. If someone has the pic he explains it much better than I.

This is the insidious subplot, I believe, yeah 100%.

>psychologist or whatever

Kek

>doing exactly what he's describing

kek

White boomer ladies feel like they aren't racist when they have their MSM provided opinions repeated by this mulatto with a foreign accent.

He’s not funny at all. If it wasn’t for South Park Comedy Central wouldn’t even be a channel anymore
