To gain weight, you need to eat nothing but carbs. Fat and protein will not cause you to gain weight, especially being an ectomorph. Drink lots of soda, eat lots of bread, eat corn, eat crackers and chips and pop tarts and cereal.
Lift heavy weight you massive brainlet! It doesn’t matter if you consume more calories if you are a hard ectomorph, you have to signal to your body a reason to add the weight instead of just ramping up your metabolism higher to burn it up. Lift heavy, eat a lot of good clean calories, you may never be 210 of muscle but you’ll add 20-30 lbs of muscle easily if you are doing it right.
Probably gluten sensitive, you basically can’t absorb nutrients so you don’t gain weight. I have it, I’m at 200, oats, corn and rice replaced the gluten stuff but generally I don’t eat much carbohydrates

I'm in the same boat, but I'm actually smart enough to count up the calories I've had in a day, of which I actually believed to have eaten "a shitload", only to find out it was less than 1800 kcal.

It could be do to not having a consistent caloric intake, whenever you stop eating your body metabolizes so try to get high calorie protein shakes and sip that throughout the day with food with that of course, that’s how I gain half a pound every week.
Good advice. Like the Duke of Dutchy says, you're probably not eating that much, for a 6ft guy who is 190 pounds. God, I'm actually jealous of you ectos for having small stomach sizes, not gut fat, but the actual stretch limitation of the organ. I've had to shrink my stomach, which is very painful and stressful, all you have to do is eat till you're stuffed on nothing but carbs every day. Shrinking your stomach is harder than actually losing weight.

At 6'6" and 300 pounds, I had to lose weight to get down to 250, and the keto diet did that for me, so I don't know the best ways to slow metabolism off the top of my head.
