Workplace Diversity

My lib arts university tries to tell me that it is good and that it should be embraced.
I am talking about racial diversity, not gender.
Are there any studies that suggest the negatives of it?

Saying diversity is strength is a social cope nearly logical equivalent to lets put our differences aside/lets look past our differences and try to make it work anyways.
Implying it is strength aka better under all circumstances is the cope, obviously not the case.

There are papers showing ethnic differences erodes trust in local governments and in social bonds in general, cause they dont feel like they are thinking same wanting same things fir their society and being on the same team. Ive seen such studies linked here before. Ofcourse diversity advocates do everything they can to demonize or prevent such studies if the conclusion isn’t that it’s good. They dont care that it isn’t cause thats not what they want to hear, cause then they cant even use that to promote immigration.

They keep saying how wonderful it is that people are different and to celebrate it. I agree But that doesn’t mean they all have to be Living right next to eachother since them being different, they want different things. Try having 10 chefs in one kitchen. They cant all get what they want at the same time when they want different things.
The illogical idea is the more different people the better ideas, thinking outside a particular box or Line of thinking. But thats not necessarily true. Nor do you need a group consisting of different ethnicities to have many different ideas. And for most things you need to think in a similar way for that particular thing anyways.

There aren't any inherit negatives of having a diverse workplace if it naturally developed as such, but artificially inducing it by hiring based on racial discrimination is not a good thing.

Here is what the diversity is great crowd do about these studies. This article is about the 07 putnam study. You’ll laugh, i quote.
Sociologists Maria Abascal, of Princeton University, and Delia Baldassari, of New York University, published a paper late last year which refutes Putnam’s conclusions. After reanalyzing the same dataset used by Putnam, Abascal and Baldassari asserted that when it comes to distrust and diversity, most of the distrust is expressed by Whites who feel uncomfortable living amongst racial minorities. In other words, greater distrust may stem from prejudice rather than from diversity per se. Therefore, Putnam’s conclusion that racial diversity leads to less altruism and cooperation amongst neighbors was incorrect. If there is a downside to diversity, it has less to do with the behavior of racial minorities and more to do with how Whites feel when living amongst non-Whites.

Here you can start to get an idea of how large these groups the immigrants are part of are outside of USA. So if americans feel like they want to keep their country about their people. And feel like these groups have plenty of territory and pop already. They are totally right.

it is an online class so I wont have to verbally hear the professor's reply, and i have nearly 100% in the class before this paper.
I am leaning towards doing it. I will highlight the benefits but argue that it should not be promoted in the volumes that it is.

In general with subjective and biased things like these. Depending on professor or whatever. Dont go an hero against an obvious stooge. It’s not worth it, graduate instead. These people dont care what the facts are, just what they want it to be. 3 topics that are dead about honesty in that regard. Race/Human subspecies, climate related Environmental research and mass immigration which ‘diversity’ ties into. If the research does not reach specific conclusions, then if it is ever published. There Will be follow up research papers saying why it is bs immediately after. Bad things might happen to your career opportunities etc. Even trying to destroy you as a person. They tried to tell me that a diverse group is better than a homogeneous one in one of my accounting classes. Not realizing that I was a double major in Japan and had done an internship in Japan and also I’m America I told them that the Japanese were better in every aspect. My teachers only rebuttal was image how good they would be if they took differing views from Africans Latinos.
And I began to hate them
