who else getting kicked out this month because there's no money

Even if the house prices came down 50% which they will not most people still will not have the adequate down payment or credit.

not me, I'm "essential" because I clean floor for walmart, i stay indoors because I hate people in general, my life has literally never been as good as it is now, extra money, extra peace, less traffic to/from work, fuckin' wish it lasted forever

Not sure. If things keep going the way they are it will cause down payments required to be much lower. Also, it will cause lenders to accept borrowers with much lower credit scores.

Almost pulled the trigger on a house 2 days before they quarantined everyone. Yes I hope the market crashes for me and my wife’s benefit. It will go back up again fackin Boomers.

We are literally shutting down our economies in order to safeguard the precious lives of a few thousand obese diabetic lunglet boomers at the expense of the livelihoods and future prospects of tens of millions of the younger generations. Who exactly is entitled, again? Hell, the imperative that we so this isn't even questioned in the general media. The boomers MUST be saved at any cost. Fuck em. Let them die and let the values of their 6 rental properties plummet. Fuck, I hate them. This includes my own parents, by the way. Irresponsible old shitheads.

ahhahaha I would! BASED HIGH GRADE ZION SCORE!

Based Leaf.

You know your parents would leave their stuff to you? How dense can you be. Its not like when they die all their assets vansh. You ARE entitled

May the virus take them.

It's me, I'm the entitled millennial who went into debt to get a degree in a "high paying" job that turned out to be not so high paying by the time I got the degree because of H1-B and related immigration, and in that same time housing costs have more than doubled in this state and more than doubled in some of the cities in which my qualifications could land me.
Boomers need to die, the market needs to crash, else you're going to have a few million unemployed millennials raging against everything and that's bad for business.

>So they can afford a home
How DARE they be able to afford a home!

Prior generations sat back idly as hundreds of years of technology and knowledge of social organization was given to the Chinese so a few businessmen can line their pockets. They threw away our sovereignty and prosperity to East Asia for pennies and now demand that they suffer no consequences from their actions.

Then they would keep coming down. The only thing that stops a real crash is people who previously couldn't afford to be in the market getting into the market.

Pfftt... boomers are the entitled ones.

Der eternal boomer

>1970: median income $9,870, median home price $23,600
>2019: median income $63,688, median home price $315,000
>1:2.39 vs 1:4.95 income to housing cost ratio
Same shit with education, healthcare, vehicles, food, etc. etc.

>30 year loan
>5 figure down payment
>responsible for upkeep
>have a giant headache anytime you want to move somewhere
Why would anyone do this to themselves?

> No no no you were supposed to live in a cardboard box while I'm renting out my apartment to chink tourists on airbnb.
Shit cannot go down in flames soon enough.

>You know your parents would leave their stuff to you?
A fuck ton of boomers aren't leaving jack shit, because they want it all on annual trips to Cabo San Lucas or have to divide their properties and assets toward multiple people in a will.

>Parent's house is a nice large home in a nice area
>I'm a semi only child as I have two older half sisters from my father's first marriage.
>Can't inherit the house directly because it's being split in the will
>Will be evicted because can't afford to live in this area or my two half sisters will want to immediately sell it for their portions of the will
>Parent's considered moving anyways to some ranch-style house in semi-rural suburbia in some frying pan farmland, forcing to probably give up this house to chinks or poos.

This sucks.

seething boomer - the article

this
:(
My dad left me nothing. NOTHING.

son, has anyone told you about the boomers?

>your parents would leave their stuff to you
My parents sold the family home, moved into a rental trailer in a trailer park, bought two new cars and a truck, sold a car and the truck at a huge loss because they couldn't drive them anymore, bought a sailboat, sold the boat at a huge loss because they can't sail anymore, and will not only have no cash left by the time they die, but will most likely have astronomical medical debts as part of their "estate".

You buy a home, not a house. Don't live in some run of the mill suburbia with a minivan across the street.

Real estate is about location location location. Tfw you own property in a huge boom town. I’m up $50k already in three years.

Most people aren't even making the median income.
The average income per capita is like 45k.
And then there are still half of the working population making less than that.
Unless a major crash happens, home ownership is a pipe dream for most Americans.
Doomed to a lifetime of renting, even if they work a job 40 hours a week, which used to basically be all you needed to do to own a home in 5 years.

Why the hell wouldn’t you want this? It’s amazing. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. This place is so nice.

I work remotely, but I want to clean jewel overnight and be a NEET. Would you recommend user? Can you wear headphones ?

A gay trans-gendered robot should be doing your job. Only welfare recipients are essential.

Those entitled fucks without even a slim prospect to afford ownership of a house during their lifetime, back to podshare gulag with you

Boomers who leave shit to charities should get no grave or funeral, and removed from all family records.

Gee, I dunno, user.

Fuck most people. Make better choices in life, fucking pussies.

You should have bought your own mobile home by now. You don't have to live in the damn Taj Mahal to start with.

As I see it the quarantine means to prevent the Spanish flu scenario, where first European governments were covering up the pandemic and then millions of young fags like you died.

Most millennials will rent for the rest of their lives.

Older suburbs are fine once large trees grow in and all homeowners have done real landscaping and planting. That's the main thing, you need trees, and new developments are devoid because they're stripped to dirt lots for construction.

Lmao that’s not too far off but if you live on the outskirts of these areas you get all the benefits while still enjoying nice white neighborhoods

the fuck it will idiot. if it crashes the billioniairs hoarding cash will buy all the shit for nothing then just hold it while its empty writing the lost rental income off against the interest their other investments makes. once the market comes back theyl rent it out just like the single family who used to own it did only now that family will be on welfare with you loser

You mean for the rest of their careers right?

Boomers don't even get a tax write-off. That's how retarded they are when it comes to donating. The only boomers who can even get to that level are ones who live in affluent areas making doctor-level pay in their 70's style Hollywood Hills houses, because they donated to city organizations such as police, schools, etc. Donating to the cancer research doesn't give you jack shit.

I mean I am, but that's because housing prices are so inflated I don't have one yet (because I'm not taking on a quarter million dollar mortgage, even if I can afford it). So yeah, a crash benefits me. Boomers really hate it when we use the lessons *they* taught us: screw everyone else to get your own. They sold out our future for a buck, why should I not return the favour?

>makes it illegal for anyone to enjoy spring because they lived so hard they wouldn’t survive a flu
>millennials entitled kek

Sounds about right. Blow it all on toys and shit while we can, then the kids can take care of us once we've had our fun and can't fend for ourselves anymore.

Same here, a median wage gives you the ability to only buy 4% of the houses. Which are almost all located in regions with no jobs and earthquakes.

My dad is rich as fuck then divorced my mom and now is getting remarried and I’m about 99% sure she’ll take everything. I hope he’s smart with a pre nup.

Ah the same boomer parents that make you pay rent for living with them? right.

I care more about having a non-zero chance of being able to raise my future family in a home instead of an overpriced studio apartment than I care about how much Loretta and Saul Goldsteinboomer might lose on their twelve rental properties

His smug smile before even opening the gif always makes me laugh. I dunno why, its even funnier than actually watching it

>prenup

Yeah that's going to help him exactly not at all.

Here if you want an affordable house you have the risk of niggers, and you're not allowed to just shoot at them, because castle laws don't really exist in my state.

Well at least by the time you retire you can probably save up for a studio flat in the middle of nowhere so that you don't end up in the street. Assuming pensions will still be a thing.

My dad's home is a dilapidated eyesore, full of junk like an episode of hoarders. He doesn't own it in full, he refinanced to pay for divorce/alimony. My mom doesn't own a home, just rents. I don't think there is really anything to inherit except for a few personal belongings.

That only happens in JewSA. Your boomers are on next next level compared to ours

>They sold out our future for a buck, why should I not return the favour?
As long as you're not harming coming generations there isn't a problem. The truth is that boomers all think that their houses are a part of their retirement plan and they're losing their shit realizing that they may not be able to sell their McMansion for 3-4x what they bought it for in the 90s.

Based I agree

Because everyone was poor and malnourished from WW1, are you dumb? Afterwards economy thrived because most of the ballast was removed from society.

True, my job hasn't really changed much. Spend most of it working alone in a hangar. I enjoy the lack of people on the roads and hiking trails though.

don't worry the market will crash at least 90%

>No one is buying
>Massive unemployment
>Brick and mortar retail and small businesses are going bankrupt.
>1/3 of rent is not being paid
>No one is using airbnb
>Flippers are sitting on empty properties.
>There are more than nine million second homes in the U.S. that may or may not be financially viable given the depth of the current recession.
>About eight million landlords who own between one and 10 properties accounting for half the nation’s rental properties. Financial duress will come swiftly for those carrying multiple mortgages.
>As many as 30% of Americans with home loans, or some 15 million households, could default if the nation’s economy remains closed up through the summer.
>Illigal immigration has been halted from the virus.
>Interest rates are already near 0 and can't really go much lower.
>JPMorgan has bumped its loan requirements to 20% down and 700 credit score.
>The jumbo mortgage market is disappearing.
>list prices are already down 6% in april

>World wide housing bubble crashes by 50%
>Would still has 950% to go
Thanks, Boomers.

yeah and then they will be homeless

eat shit faggot
you are a jew slave

>so they can afford a home
That's not why we're cheering.

And the solution will be... pulling in more immigrants so demand soars and everyone who doesn't own a home yet will be priced out.
