As deaths from "covid" increase, deaths from the flu, heart disease, cancer, and virtually all other causes magically go down. It's unbelievably fucking obvious. Mom works at a local hospital, typical government shit being done to manipulate numbers everywhere. Obviously you all know that a critically ill/deathbed patient will "die" from the virus, despite all the other previous complications. No secret to that, not what I want to talk about.

What happens is, a sick patient who is admitted to my mom's small local hospital will be transported to the city, where they die and become part of the bigger numbers. Now that person from a smaller town, along with the others from different small towns, are dead in a Toronto hospital, dying along with other people from Toronto. Higher numbers of deaths in the only hospitals relevant to the media, which the media and government reports will use across the entire province. Despite Toronto being a different world compared to your town of 3000.

TLDR exaggerate deaths in key areas, funnel more dying people there for worse sounding media report. Anyone in southern Ontario knows this, regardless of whether you have to do with Toronto you are still spoonfed Toronto news and everything is about Toronto. I figure anywhere close to a city across the world is doing the same, MSM works the same everywhere.
