Depends where you are. In the Bay of California there are a lot of people who live in RV’s on their parents property. The first girl I dated out here was doing it. There’s just RV’s parked on the street or in the driveway.

Not where I live, unless the person in the trailer is causing problems for other landowners, which is usually the case for people who live in trailers. But look at it this way, if someone is living on non-residential zoned land, that IS a problem for the neighbors. They own commercial land. That means they want to sell it to a commercial developer. It doesn't help to have some guy in a trailer littering everywhere, parking cars everywhere, generally being an eyesore, etc...
