Steriods supress the immune response. The idea is to prevent the cytokine storm effect. Many people are dying from their own immune systems overreacting and not the virus itself. Some hospitals have also experimented with chemo drugs to achieve the same effect. One of the classic problems with SARS vaccines is that they trigger the cytokine storm reaction. This is why previous corona virus research was abandoned 15 years ago. It's also why Gates is demanding global indemnification preventing lawsuits from vaccine deaths.

HCQ works by holding open the Fe ion channel in your hemoglobin. Looks like covid produces some helper proteins that glue themselves to our hemoglobin, preventing our red blood cells from picking up O2 in the lungs.

Vitamin C is important because the sabotaged hemoglobin means there are a lot of toxic free Fe radicals in the blood, which causes liver and other tissue damage. Vitamin C bonds to this free Fe and allows it to be safely cleaned up.

Zinc is well known to be toxic to corona viruses. That's why there are OTC cold relief medicines that have a lot of Zn.

It is also possible that the ion channel effect of HCQ increases your cells permeability to Zn, which creates a toxic environment inside your cells that covid can't replicate in.

Likely isn't doing much due to the damaged hemoglobin. Blood transfusions are the only treatment I can foresee working for those who's hemoglobin have already suffered extensive damage.
