I'm pretty sure the 2% is based on gross sales and not their revenues. I don't know the exact numbers, it's probably still unfair, but you should keep that in mind tho.

40% income tax rates would literally only apply the top 1% of earners. Most assembly line worker probably pay negative effective rates with deductions and credits.

Corporations are fictional entities. Taxing them makes no sense because you already tax capital gains made by shareholders and salaries earned by executives.
The CEO pays 40% tax on his salary and 15% on dividends regardless of how much the corporation is taxed. There is no way for an individual to draw money out of the corporation without being taxed at the same rates as everyone else.

Corporations never pay taxes. People pay taxes. Sure corporations might write a check to the IRS but that money doesn’t come out of thin air. That money comes either from the consumer in the form or higher prices or the employee in the form of lower wages.

Corporations never pay taxes. They just forward them on to the consumer by raising prices. This is why a steak in Canada costs 10x the price compared to the US.

The coporation sucks, the union sucks and most of the people suck but i wouldnt trade it for anything joeblo off the street has going.
Coporate taxes are a joke. Cities will give them billions in breaks on the slighest whiff of jobs only for the corporation to shutter the facility within years.
The union at the international level is corrupt to the core. The organization needs a ground up revamp and All old hats need to go. The power structure is no longer valid. The real reason unions continue to exist is that they are an extension of the corporate structure, its much easier to control a few at the top than the unwashed masses. That and the fact international treats the member dues as a slush fund.

Even with all that and more most wouldnt trade their positions at one of these places for anything especially if they at the top as with most things in life.
