Germans are incredibly direct and blunt about their opinions. The government has a humanistic approach to race and gender questions, however it does not force anyone to conform to those beliefs (with the exception of the holocaust denial, a law that is ridiculously outdated)
When I was in the USA I was shocked by the extent of both extreme PC culture and on the other side extreme hatred for everything.
