Americans are a special sort of people. Since the beginning, we'd had to be more self-reliant than other cultures to survive. We didn't always have the resources that we needed to get the job done. The early settlers lacked many of the tools and other products that our motherlands took for granted. They had to improvise to survive. Those who couldn't do it died a long time ago and now that marvelous ingenuity is part of our genetic code, I think.
In World War II, two kinds of tanks were very common. Well-engineered German tanks with fantastic abilities thanks to the ingenious mechanic aptitude of the German people and American tanks which were hastily mass-produced and shipped all the way from our coasts to the distant European shores. But where the German tanks were complicated, the American tanks were simple. When a German tank stopped functioning- they simply abandoned it and relied on their nearby factories to produce more, but we Americans didn't have that luxury. Our tanks were produced all the way across the Atlantic ocean and so when one of them when down- the army mechanics went to work on it and brought it back to life.
The brilliant men who fought in that war also had to improvise when they were fighting in the hedgerows shortly after D-Day. These hedgerows that Europeans take for granted gave the Germans excellent cover and effectively stopped the Allied advance until our soldiers and mechanics finally found a way to modify the tanks to remove that advantage. Once the tanks could get through- the army could finally advance again.
It doesn't matter what roadblocks and setbacks that we run into along the way. We'll survive the same way we always have- if there's no known solutions to a problem then we'll create new one. If there's no way forward then we'll just crash through those walls and keep moving. Call it divine providence if you like- we are stubbornly independent and self-reliant. It's part of what makes us great.
>why is everyone keep shifting the topic to Trump's spending on golf the same reason they lie about the stimulus check being a loan of next year's tax return asspain

While Democratic campaigns and groups spend heavily on advertising on YouTube, they lag in organic content, with dozens of conservative and right-wing figures like Ben Shapiro, Mark Dice and Paul Joseph Watson and more official-sounding channels like Prager University cultivating enormous followings not yet matched by equivalents on the left. “‘LeftTube’ has two problems: One is volume and the other is content, neither of which it seems close to solving on its own,

And the teenagers who ran former Sen. Mike Gravel’s shitposting, left-wing presidential campaign in 2019 — which attracted over 67,000 donors, outpacing 10 other Democratic candidates — are turning “The Gravel Institute” into what they are calling a “progressive PragerU” that’s set to launch this summer after securing over $120,000 in initial funding from tech-oriented donors like David Karp, the founder of Tumblr. They are trying to set up their own service politico.com/news/2020/04/13/democrats-youtube-deficit-179372

I thought I had died twice before and woke up unharmed. Shit was extremely confusing as the first time my neck snapped in the water, and I was run over by a pickup truck after falling off my road bicycle the second. Both times it felt like I was waking up from a dream. Perhaps they were.
>if you filed your 2018 and/or 2019 taxes and you entered a bank account no further action on your part is needed FYI for anyone else that is in the same boat. Just found out this only applies if you received a refund. If like me you owed money and paid through your bank account you will need to enter your bank info or wait for a check.
if you successfully filed in 2018 they'll use that info if you rectify whatever the problem is in your 2019 return, they'll use that info 2019 filing deadline is now july 15, irs says the stimulus payment will be available through the end of 2020

It's pure coincidence that Obama stopped taking credit for the Trump economy right as the coronavirus outbreak started.
