I can't even learn from failure, I just get completely shutdown. This one chick at work went out of her way to sit down and talk to me everyday for a couple weeks, so I asked her out on a date and she goes "I have a boyfriend, sorry, I was just being friendly..." and never talks to me anymore. She didn't mention having a bf in any conversation I had with her.
I gave up hope after that one. The only girl to ever show any interest in me was apparently just trying to "be friendly" with someone she doesn't interact with unless she walks into my office.
