This. I don't work in a hospital, but I'm a healthcare provider and after the initial wave of panic subsided, things are slow as fuck right now. And presumably this is also the case in the hospitals. Even if there were theoretically a massive overburden right now due to muh coronavirus (there really isn't), that would only account for things like the ED and ICUs. All elective shit is not happening. Less people are visiting the ED in the first place because they're either scared to go or because they're trying to free up space for corona. There's already tons of talk going around about lots of hospitals on the verge of going under because they can't make any money right now.
The idea that the hospitals right now are "the front lines" with all these dramatic comparisons to a warzone are ridiculous.
