IQ per Major (STEM, ECON, PHIL ARE CHADS)

If your major is below 125 IQ you are an confirmed idiot.

> Physics, Math, Phil, Economics, Finance and most Engineers (Except Civil and Industrial) confirmed to be masterrace.

Everyone else confirmed to be an idiot.

Havn't seen one of these bullshit threads for years.

t.midwit

Wish I had taken philosophy instead of my bullshit major. I'm not using the one I got so I may as well have enjoyed what I was studying

Journalists have an average IQ of like 95

My IQ is 103, I don't care about university students or graduates, "engineers" are all nerds and when I'm playing rugby you lot are playing World of Warcraft. Enjoy having a really high IQ I'm sure it's helped you loads in life

Kidding me? 130 is practically midwit territory considering luminaries are going to stand in the 160 range.

I sympathize with this, I wish I did math instead of my Infosys major.

I studied physics for undergrad and my classmates were smart, but complete philistines with no appreciation for the non-material world.
Now I am studying electrical-computer engineering and 90% of my colleagues are socially retarded Pajeets who can't even fake that they understand what they are doing,

Nah, should've done engineering. At least then you could use it and study philosophy on the side. Philosophy is fine but after a point it's like studying how to write cook books. It's more satisfying in application.

I graduated with a double degree in Philosophy and Psychology. Can confirm that Philosophy was the only set of rigorous classes I had throughout college. Many enjoyable lectures and debates. IQ doesn't translate into dollarydoos however. Connections do. Midwits run the world if you haven't noticed. They're currently running it into the ground. Watch us now, we're crashing! :D

>All above 100
I call bullshit. Even with the selection effects from being a study of college students, there's no way so many majors have 100+ IQ averages.

Philosophy is useless unless you don’t like money and just want to teach philosophy.

130 is the average IQ, i never claimed that everyone who studies Physics is a topwit but the distribution of topwits is obviously much higher well...the top.

If 130 is the average IQ then why am I 27 points lower but better than university graduates in every way?

You're actually retarded

Math BS here. Get fucked, brainlets.

I am not well aware of how US uni's work. But here only if you are in the top 20% of intelligence (which sort of get tested at 12yo) you are allowed to enter uni. Which roughly makes the average uni student here have an IQ of 120. With a spread of 110 - 130 probably depending on the subject.

What are you studying now? Did you go research or industry?

Dunning Kruger

I feel like this only applies to graduate school. I'm an economics major and undergrad was filled with retards. My grad classes however, are 85% Asian and the rest are autistic white kids.

He hangs out on Yas Forums. He's prolly academia

follow up, pure math or applied?

These are average IQs for people who attain the degrees, but is the decision for which degree to pursue part of that? I don't think so. My degrees are in finance and accounting, but I made my decision based on future earning potential and acquiring the skills to successfully run my own business and investments. This graphic doesn't take into account the autism involved in making choices based on how little you need to interact with others.

Because these are considered a 7/10 in Bongland

Industry. Working as a mathematician. Considering going into a different field though because computer work gives me headaches. I was gonna keep studying for a masters or PhD in math but that would just mean more computer work.

My IQ is 132 and I never graduated college.

I do make a lot of money though, so there's that.

Why is there such a large gap between Finance and Accounting (15 points)? Is Finance that much harder, i heard it gets pretty difficult with stochastic stuff and volatility jumps etc.

The East Asians and Jews have the highest IQs in the world and are hideous so I don't really see your point

Mmm muh clickbait

thetab.com/us/2017/04/10/which-major-has-highest-iq-64811

I meant that your standards are inflated, the average person that goes to uni is like your women a 7/10 (high iq) there but a 3/10 (low iq) in normal countries.

By having an IQ of 103 you are a 8/10 in the UK, that's why you mog most of them.

I have many friends in finance, and they all say accounting classes were their hardest classes. The kids I know in accounting seem way smarter so that doesn't seem right.

>anthro
>120
This is bullshit.

>be me
>be a physics major with an astronomy minor and a mathemetics minors

My uni didn’t have separate majors for those but I enjoyed pure a lot more than applied. Graph Theory kicked my ass though. I don’t think I’m autistic enough for that.

Finance had actual math (statistics) and Accounting was all memorization and basic arithmetic. I found the Accounting harder in upper level classes due to all the memorization as it was so boring. In Finance, the math just got more complicated, it was great. Way less people in my Finance classes by the end, and less women too.

i grow food bro
fuck books lmfao

>an confirmed idiot

user, I...

Why are midwits so tedious....

Here i did your homework: chhaylinlim.wordpress.com/2014/09/24/average-iq-per-college-major/
