Practically everyone has been warned of hell but the same don't care and are too in love with their life now to live it in accordance with not going to hell. Jesus said there was no point for the rich man who went to hell to go back to earth to warn his brothers. They would shrug their shoulders and live lives resulting in hell either way.
The reality of hell is impressed on everyone alive either through direct warnings or strong implications. But the present is too powerful. Live for today, die and tomorrow wish you had not.
