So why hasn't the uk banned crossbows or compound bows yet?
Are they waiting for a high profile crime to just ban them?
Idk the whole deal seems off theres been alot of articles about crossbows and why they need to be banned.

Are crossbows and compound bow archery equipment going to be the next go to the street and protest moral outrage movement?

I kinda want to hear yalls thought on this, I mean if things get to a point where we are having crossbow debates that would be pretty weird.
Guns are going to be banned at some point everywhere so I'm just hypothesizing years ahead.
Also the 3d printer might come into play with all of this. Hard to guess.

Bump*

they're already illegal to hunt with so either change that or ban them outright I guess. I think it's too hard to define between a compound bow and something some faggot made in his shed though. Either way don't put it on the news, you'll only give niggers ideas

>photo of a miserable looking guy holding object outside store he purchased it from

why do they always do this when they want to ban something?

Use your hands and forearms before they get banned.

Ik its seems counter productive stories like this makes ppl want to go buy one.

Because they want to feel involved in making some big change like it even matters weather or not some thing is being bought and sold.

He said in the article he was crusading, so maybe it's just that, to say fought against something for the sake of virtue signaling morality.

To say he fought*

this is just it, for what reason could he have to crusade against banning crossbows? did his granma get shot by one? doubt it, he just wants his name on some legislation or some bollocks

Surprised they didn't ban them already.

i didn't read the article, but i bet my ass he is some type of criminal rights lawyer with a marxist agenda.
he probably had one of his poor black/druggie clients killed by a crossbow wielding homeowner while doing home invasions and doesn't want that to ever happen to any poor young tyrone again.

australia already banned crossbows, but we still have compound bows which blows my mind.

i have a storage locker half full of them and hundreds of spare arrows in case they get banned.

British banning crossbows, where have I heard that from before?

So what century technology are you allowed to use now? Can you pick up a rock? Do you need a loicense for that? If you make a fist on accident, do you pay a fine or do you have to write a hand written letter to the queen? How does that work?

>hundreds of spare arrows in case they get banned
My God man... the state of the rest of the world. Back to serfdom I guess. GG.

Resorting to fucking crossbows

Can you cunts figure out how to make a zip gun?

This is England, didn't they like fucking INVENT the crossbow or some shit, now they're banning it.

we might as well at this point.

the courts in australia never treat those as real firearms, even if they are loaded with a fucking .308 and used by a gang to shoot someone in the chest, it will be treated the same as if dennis the menace shot mr wilson in the ass with his slingshot (basically a glorified warning).

but meanwhile you can get 6 months for leaving a round in the chamber overnight or leaving your gun safe unlocked.

Australia already banned crossbows, pretty strange considering medieval peasants used to make them by hand.

pepper spray is banned here, and it is basically just pressurized tabasco sauce.

> UK might ban crossbows
> Again

Body armour.... Never understood that one...
(Oh that's right; bloody Ned!)

Anyone remember that article where a crossbow was used in a crime in the UK? Yeah me neither

>UK might ban crossbows
how will the peasants defend their lords castle now?

You fucking cucks, you have the most inhospitable wildlife in the world, are you supposed to battle them with a jandal?

What a shame

>Anyone remember that article where a crossbow was used in a crime in the UK? Yeah me neither

The only crossbow incident I remember where I live is some dimwit was firing bolts in his backward and one flew over the fence and hit some kid in the leg. It wasn't intentional, just another one of those "It seemed like a good idea at the time" thing.

You're more likely to see a home invasion using muskets.

>*Hearty German laughter intensifies*

>Do you need a loicense for that?
SHALL

What about replicas of Medieval and Renaissance era crossbows? Are they banning all of them, wholly?

How liberals see crossbows

They are regularly used to murder people and should be at least as tightly controlled as guns, if not outright banned. Tbh they are more dangerous because they can’t be heard unlike a gun so an outright ban might be the only solution or many will die.

First crossbows, then crowbars and finally HEV suits

UK has become the laughing stock of the entire world.

Did you forget your memeflag?

>but meanwhile you can get 6 months for leaving a round in the chamber overnight or leaving your gun safe unlocked.
Goddamn :D I know a case where this dentist left his daughter in charge of the house for a weekend, whom then proceeded to throw a house party, and suprise suprise, when you leave your gun safe keys on top of your gun safe, a gat might get stolen. Now, when the police recovered the stolen illegal flare gun, they gave it back with paperwork for the dude to licence it. I kinda like living in the Alabama of Finland.

bulletproof vest bans are almost understandable (even though there is a real risk of being shot in melbourne in 2020), but never forget that we are not even allowed to have stab resistant vests, anti-rape vaginal sheaths, and kevlar motorcycle pants (unless they are removed before even dismounting the motorcycle).

i honestly expected these restrictions to all be relaxed as australia came into the internet age and saw that even england allows pepper spray... but nothing has changed.
similar to how they eventually relaxed the INSANE restrictions on P plate legal cars in victoria about 10 years ago.
(for a while P platers could legally drive a lotus elise or porsche 911, but running to the shops in a 50 year old V8 farm truck would get you thousands in fines and demerit points).

but
i still can't get a can of pepper spray for my 90 year old nan to carry when she needs to go out. and i still can't shoot airsoft with my friends in the forest under any circumstances.

they'll ban bows, they'll ban everything. that is how our political system works. event, reaction.

Based JIDF

When will crossbows ban the UK gov?

Why can't you just have a walking stick but its actually a Japanese hardwood JO stick. If the cops get suspicious, thread the end so you can put a broom head on it.

Lol if I lived there and I couldnt carry a gun or any weapon i would get hooked on steroids and get jacked as fuck until i was a walking fucking tank. I'd get strong enough to crush a sand niggers head like a grape. I'm talking ripping arms out of their sockets strong. Flipping cars over strong.

What year will people with big fists in UK be forced to registrate their fists?

everyone here already carries a big knife or stick when they go out.
would just be nice to have a less lethal and more reliable option that can be deployed from a distance.

every police officer will tell you... a taser and sometimes even an actual bullet does nothing to stop someone on PCP/meth, but pepper spray stops them every time.

>Australia already banned crossbows, pretty strange considering medieval peasants used to make them by hand.
Almost exactly the reasoning the Finnish police gives when asked about banning crossbows. As in, there's no point in banning something that could be made even by a medieval peasant with hand tools.

>even england allows pepper spray
in the UK, pepper spray is in the same firearms category as rocket launchers

but the sand niggers and druggie criminals all have guns.

We're still allowed sticks bro, we can thank the coons for that one.

I used to live in Britain. I saw state enforced homosexuality coming down the pipeline so I split to America. It’s so bad there. I had a teacher asked me if I had ever considered my child was transgender before because he was playing tag with some girls. Another teacher suggested diversity lessons for my child because he hadn’t been playing with toys that didn’t look like him. The U.K. is an absolute dumpster fire
