Labfag here. There is no such thing as a covid19 test. We can kinda test for a coronavirus, but anyone who tells you we can process millions of tests for a specific virus is lying through their fucking teeth. Everything is being classified as COVID19.

Being immune to the chink flu is impossible, just like it is impossible being immune to HIV or Ebola. Look antibody dependant enhancement. States and health organizations keep lying through their teeth over and over again. And the media happily spread those lies.

Given that it's out of control, it's not so important now. Because so many contagious people have mild to no symptoms, the only way testing would help is if we test literally everyone and quarantine the positive ones, and not only does no one have the capacity to do that and false negatives continue to be high for all tests, the citizens who feel fine aren't going to agree to be tested if they know a positive result would lock them up.

Most of the “tests” people have access to are test that have been “Standardized” to turn “Positive” by some process that can be perceived (say, color change) that is “activated” when a certain threshold is reached for presence oof the desired substance. HCG, viral particle #, what have you. (Strep). Anyway. That threshold is engineered in and is a # that is “solid”. Upon attaining this threshold some 97 or 98% of the samples will react.

The thing people fail to realize is frequently the PATIENT has access to a “test” that is, in some cases, more sensitive, has an even LOWER threshold for reaction. SYMPTOMS. Yes, that breast tenderness means you’re actually pregnant no matter what the damn test says. Get it?

So if you’re looking at somebody who has symptoms but the “test” is negative, what then? Are there SIGNS you can observe that give you confidence this IS the disease? If so you can trust the patient even more.

Not everyone who tests negative is free of disease. Why do we need tests? Clinically you don’t. If everyone was honest as a British Soldier in WWI then they would respect “sick call” and there would be few malingerers.
