I agree with you OP. I was an ardent MAGApede since 2015. I donated hundreds of dollars to Trump's campaign. He said some controversial stuff, but I figured he must be better than Hillary.
Even when he was elected, I still supported him. Even when he openly endorsed white nationalism after Charlottesville, I still planned to vote for him. Him supporting Nazism made me sick to my stomach, but it still seemed better than the alternative, so I continued to support him.
2018 and 2019 were full of him saying and doing controversial things. No matter what he did, whether airstrikes on Syria, caging immigrant children, or killing the Iranian general, I still supported him. Even when the COVID-19 outbreak happened and he refused to take it seriously, I still supported him because I figured it must be some kind of 4D chess.
But then he defunded WHO. That was the last straw. I can put up with his bigoted tweets. I can put up with him killing brown children and oppressing LGBTQIAA+. But when he defunded WHO, that was a step too far. I can support a Nazi like Drumpf, but I can't support a Nazi who defunds WHO.
Now I have no other choice. I'm Ridin' With Biden now.
